Amy Schumer start the new year with a positive and healthy mindset.
The A little pregnant star, 44, took Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 4, to show off her recent weight loss, sharing a series of photos of herself in swimsuits and other body-hugging pieces.
“My mom took these photos of me packing for a trip and the last photo of me going on the trip. This year is all about self care and self love. No makeup. No filter,” she captioned the carousel. “Let’s all cherish our health, our families, our friends and have the best year of our lives. Let’s move on with no regrets. Only love.”
In the first photo, Schumer wore a strapless red bikini top with matching red high-waisted pants. She held a hand on her hip as she smiled for the camera. The second photo showed her in a black one-piece, and later photos captured her in a black two-piece bikini and a two-tone spaghetti strap piece that broke off at the back.
The remaining photos from the series showed the comedian in two suits, loungewear and a sweater paired with large sunglasses.
The post comes less than a week after Schumer shared one mirror selfie while wearing a black Skims bodysuit, and just weeks after revealing she’s lost 50lbs in the past few months.
Speaking candidly through a since-deleted Instagram story shared in December 2025, Schumer offered insight into her weight loss journey, which sparked a desire to “survive.”

I had a disease that makes your face extremely swollen that can kill you, but the internet caught it and the disease has been wiped out.”
Schumer’s post appeared to reference her in February 2024 Cushing’s syndrome diagnosis, a disorder caused by the body producing too much of the hormone cortisol over a long period of time, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The organization’s website details that symptoms of Cushing’s syndrome can include weight gain, a round face and easy bruising, while the problems caused can range from blood clots to high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels.
The post continued: “I’m sorry for the feeling it’s giving you that I’ve lost this weight. I’ve had plastic surgery over the years and use Mounjaro. I’m sorry for anyone I let down.” (Mounjaro is a drug commonly used to treat diabetes that also causes dramatic weight loss.)
Schumer also noted that her weight loss mission was not the result their separation of a separated husband Chris Fischerwhich Schumer publicly announced in December 2025. The couple had been married for seven years and had a son, Gene, 6.
The split was confirmed via a since-deleted Instagram post shared by Schumer on December 12. “Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” Schumer captioned the post, which featured a throwback photo of the former couple on a train in New York City. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
