Sarah Foster narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.
Foster, 44, who is the co-creator of Nobody wants thatopen to And! about the fashion faux pas she almost experienced at the awards show. While hitting the red carpet, which took place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, on Sunday, January 4, Foster revealed that a photographer pointed out that her Spanx were showing through the thigh slit of her Monique Lhuillier gown.
“Gotta love him!” she exclaimed And!red carpet host Celtic Knight. Foster’s white dress featured a mock neck, long sleeves and a fitted bodice that cascaded down to a cinched waist with gold hardware and a long, flowing skirt that revealed her leg. Foster made her look even more glamorous with gold strappy heels, dainty rings and diamond earrings.
For glam, she put on a full beat that includes bronzed skin, contoured cheeks, full brows, smoky eye shadow, long lashes and pink, glossy lips. Her blonde highlights were pulled back into a half up hairstyle with curled ends.

While chatting with And!Foster also shared that she almost wore the dress to the 2025 Golden Globe Awards last January. “I said, ‘I want that back,'” she said. She noted that fans can even pick up their own Monique Lhuillier dress, which her team pointed out before she wore it. “They’re like, ‘It’s online, people can buy it.’ And I said: ‘I don’t care'”.
While the photo was being taken, Sara made sure to take a few pictures with her sister and Nobody wants that co-creator Erin Fosterwho looked chic in a brown ensemble with a black beaded top with halter straps and a fitted silk skirt.
Erin, 43, added a touch of sparkle to her look with diamond earrings, which she teamed with shimmering silver eye shadow on her lids. The rest of her makeup included rosy skin, contoured cheeks, long lashes, full brows and pink lips. Her blonde hair was parted down the middle and styled in an updo with the front pieces left out and curled. The duo hugged as they posed for a photo.
this year, Nobody wants that was nominated by Best Comedy Series. Adam Brodywho plays Noah, is also up for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, and Kristen Bell (Joanne) is nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
Sara isn’t the only star to talk about wanting to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. Sheryl Lee Ralph shared how she makes sure her feet don’t hurt while wearing heels all night.
“When you walk down the red carpet, it’s not the time for little hiccups and your shoes, sometimes they don’t fit right,” the Abbott Elementary star shared with E! “First of all, I live on lidocaine, if the shoe even has a chance of being uncomfortable. And then I spray the shoe with spray glue, put my foot in, and there are no flip-flops.”
