Adam Sandler beamed with pride as he walked the red carpet alongside his wife, Jackieto the Critics Choice Awards 2026.
Sandler, 59, took Jackie, 51, to the awards show on Sunday, January 4 at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California. The comedian attended the ceremony in honor of his latest film, Jay Kelly.
The pair were all smiles as they posed on the red carpet, with Sandler in a navy dress while Jackie stunned in a strapless blue dress with a thigh-high slit.
Sandler is nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards for his role in Jay Kellynext to Sean Penn for One battle after another, Paul Mescal for Hamnet, Jacob Elordi for Frankenstein i Stellan Skarsgård for sentimental value. Sandler’s nomination is one of three for the film, which also earned nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Casting and Ensemble.

The drama, written and directed by Noah Baumbachfollows an aging A-list movie star (George Clooney) as he grapples with past regrets about leaving time with his family, including his two daughters, played by Riley Keough i Grace Edwards – in search of a successful career. Sandler has been praised for his performance as Jay’s good-natured manager, Ron, who accompanies his client on a trip through Europe.
After Jay Kelly premiered in Venice Film Festival in August 2025, Sandler immediately began to gain Oscar popularity. He was asked about his name at the following month’s awards talk, explaining people I was simply happy to be included in the project.
“Well, that’s great and really nice to say about everybody, and I’m glad I got to be a part of it,” he said at the time. “My man Noah Baumbach wrote it, he put it all together, he got the performances he wanted out of everybody and I’m proud to be there.”
