According to Fisher, he had a specific reason for not disclosing Kylie’s surgery himself.

“HIPAA (patient privacy) laws are in place to protect patients and I will never discuss any details of a procedure or procedures unless the patient has chosen to share them or given me permission to discuss,” he explained. “Every patient is unique. This is not ‘cookbook’ surgery, this is attentive, personalized care. Thank you for your trust and understanding.”

Kris, 70, later sang Fisher’s praises.

“Garth you are a superstar class act!! You did my first face wash in 2011…14 years ago!!!” Kris wrote via an Instagram comment at the time. “(You) made it the most amazing experience and even gave us access to the cinema so others could see what it’s like and not be afraid. You’ve taken such great care of us, always and continue to be such a close and dear friend!! Such an amazing talent!!”
