Zimbabwe is hosting regional conversations as Sadc ends a military mission in the East DRC




Zimbabwe hosted a high-level meeting with representatives of the East African Community and the South African Development Community to address the deterioration of conflict in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. This gathering comes in awakening SADC’s announcement to conclude its military mission in the region, leaving a critical gap in efforts to stabilize the area in the middle of violence and humanitarian concern.
