Claader Cardsshow group of entertainment, the film production company behind franchises such as matrix, and the joker, submitted for a US bankruptcy filing, according to a decree of delace.
The company blames financial problems with a legal war of former partner Warner Bros (WB) and a “failed and expensive effort” in productent films and series series.
In a bidgige to lighten some of the financial problems, village roads are to suggest selling the broad movie library for $ 365m (£ 281m).
Company debts are estimated to be between $ 500m and $ 1bn, according to court documents.
The village and WB roads made and owned twelve films in the years but their relationships recovered early 2022 after release of the latest Matrix film – at the streaming platform HBO Max.
WB WRAshow says it does not have the rights in any subsequent sequences and prequels in films of two companies together.
“The Arbitration of WB is important that the company has more than $ 18m in legal fees, almost all unpaid”, the chief judgment of the official Keith Maib says in a filing in court.
That legal war, according to Mr Maib, there is “inconsistent working on the working relationship” between two companies, at the last end of “historic success” for historic success.
Another issue faced by village roads is a costly studio business launched in 2018. None of the films or television series independently made as part of that effort.
Like other US film companies, the village road also struggles with a slump demand from pandemic and disruption of the strike action on May 2023.
In December, the writers banned Guild of America its members from working with the Filipshow of the Company who had failed in its contributions.
