Russia urged to prove it wants peace in Ukraine

UK and France urged the Russian President Vladimir Putin to prove that he liked a peace of Ukraine, ahead of talks between Putin and Donald Trump on Tuesday Tuesday.

The French President Emmanuel Macron attacks the “courage” of the Ukrainian Voltodymer Zeleky president of agreement with a proposal.

“Adequate fatalities. Easy lives destroyed. Right disruption. Guns should be silent,” Macron said in a post of X.

UK Firical Sixtery Lammy said Putin must agree with a “perfect and unconditional cease”, saying MPs that he has a serious part of a peace agreement.

He warns that the UK and its allies have “many cards we can play” to help Russia negotiate with “serious”.

The White House sounds a more stressful letter of the eve of Trump-Putin talks, which will happen on the phone, which is to say that Ukraine’s peace “is not yet closer”.

The White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tells journalists on Monday Trump “determined” to secure peace agreement.

To what the talks can be covered, he said: “There is a power plant located on the Russian border and Ukraine mentioned in Ukrainians, and he will discuss it with his call tomorrow.”

The facility is likely to be Zaporizhizhia Nuclear Power Plant, the largest in Europe. Russia’s forces have been occupied since March 2022, and fear of a nuclear accident continued because of the area.

Asked on Sunday what concessions were considered by negotiations, Trump said: “We will speak about electric plants (we divide power plants.”

Kremlin says Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on discussing leaders, responding, “We never do that.”

While Putin used to say he supported a ceasefire, he also set a list of conditions to achieve peace.

One of the areas of conflict is the Russian region in Russia, where Ukraine launched a military ride in August and obtained some territory.

Russia pushes its reconciliation in recent weeks, and Putin now claims it is fully returned to Kursk.

He also raises many questions about how a stop-focus is monitored and prevented along the east line, and said he could not receive NATO troops.

The proposal of peace on the table was discussed by the Ukrainian and American delegates in Saudi Arabia last week.

After hours locked in a room, they inform suggestions for the 30-day ceasefire, which Ukraine has been ready to be accepted.
