Nvidia is allegedly testing software that can track the location of its AI chips due to reports of its chips being hacked into China.
NVIDIA has built location verification technology that will be able to track which countries you are in, Reuters reported It was originally reportedciting an anonymous source. This software will be an option for customers to use and will be available for the first Blackwell chips, Reuters said.

This news comes just days after Nvidia just got the green light from the US government to start selling H200 Ai Chip for Approved Customers in China on Monday. The announcement only concerns the old H200 chips, and not the company’s Blackwell chips.
