Google Photos is launching a new video editing tool

Google Photos announced on Tuesday the launch of new features that can be used to make video editing and highlight reel creation easier. It includes custom templates with preset music and text, as well as a completely redesigned video editor.

The new templates now play on Android devices and allow users to choose from Preset Music and Text to generate professional looking highlights in seconds. Users just select a template and hold the photos and videos they want to add. Google Photos will automatically generate a video that you can beat with music.

The update also makes the highlight reels in the app faster and more direct. The highlights are a collection of clips and photos from the user’s gallery, such as moments from memorable holiday celebrations or birthdays. To Create a Highlight Reel, Users can go to the Create tab and click on Video “Highlights.”

In addition, the company introduced a newly redesigned video editor, available on Android and iOS devices.

The new editor is intended to be more friendly, featuring a “Universal” team that allows users to view all video clips and other content in one place. It also includes an “adaptive canvas” that adjusts the editing interface according to the needs of a particular user or project.

In addition, with this new editor, users can combine music and text into a single video clip.

The company says the redesigned Editor will now be the default video editing tool on Android.

Additionally, Android users can now add their own text overlays to their highlighted videos, allowing for fonts, colors, and backgrounds.
