Jeff Bezoswife55, shared photos of herself and Perry via Instagram Stories on Saturday, Oct. 25, calling the “Roar” singer his “baby girl.”
“Happy birthday @katyperry, love you to space and back,” she wrote over a black and white photo of the pair, adding rocket, star and heart emojis. She shared another post with three additional pictures, writing: “Did I mention it’s my babys (sic) birthday? Oh how I love you @katyperry.”
Both posts were set to Perry’s songs “Birthday” and “California Gurls.”

Sanchez and Perry have been friends since at least 2023, when they traveled to Dubrovnik, Croatia, along with their respective partners at the time, Bezos, 61, and Perry is now the ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom. The following year they went to Sardinia, Italy on Bezos’ $500 million yacht.
The pair then reached a new level of friendship when they flew into space together in April 2025. Sanchez and Perry were among the group of women, which included a reporter Gayle Kingformer NASA rocket scientist Aisha Boweresearch scientist in bioastronautics Amanda Nguyen and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn — who flew into space on Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket. The two bonded over the experience, and Perry ended up traveling to Paris for Sanchez’s bachelorette party the following month.
Perry did not attend Sanchez and Bezos’ wedding in Venice in June 2025 because she was doing back-to-back shows in Australia. Bloom, 48, however, was seen the weekend of the wedding after the news of her breakup with Perry.

It’s been a whirlwind few months for the couple, as they were first spotted walking through Montreal’s Mount Royal Park in July before enjoying a private meal together at Le Violon restaurant a few hours later.
Since then, Perry and Trudeau have taken several outings in recent months, including a PDA-filled trip on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, in early October.
Us Weekly learned on Friday, October 24 that both Perry and Trudeau try to maintain their privacy despite the growing public interest in their relationship.
