Burke added that it’s “nothing new” for the 57-year-old Inaba harsh comments from viewers at home “But that’s also the beauty of the show, like, everybody’s entitled to their own opinion,” the former pro continued, “but don’t attack anybody.”
The ballroom isn’t the only place where opinions take over. “It happens in my personal life as well,” Burke reflected. “If you have an opinion and you’re a woman, there’s a little bit of that, right? Because, like, I’m pretty sure every judge has said the same thing at some point, but the reaction to them as individuals is so different.”

Meanwhile, Inaba has appeared as a judge for all 34 seasons, often sparking conversations with her comments on the contestants’ performances. I mean, I’m the first to say that I’m definitely not an expert in contemporary or jazz, but I’m in the ballroom, and I’m going to look for a technique executed the right way that’s written in the technique books, so because I focus well, because I stay focused? lane to the point where it comes.”
