Israel launched an airstrike on Gaza allegedly targeting the Islamic Jihad militant group

Israel’s military said on Saturday it had launched an airstrike on the Gaza Strip despite an ongoing US-brokered ceasefire, saying it was targeting “terrorists” allegedly belonging to the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad.
