A few days before the summit of US President Donald Trump along with Putin in Alaska, a call between two leaders came up.
Russian President Vladimir Putin praised “Shaurya” and “Shaurya” in withdrawing Russia’s Kursk region from the Ukrainian army of North Korea, while appealing to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
Putin told Kim that his army was “appreciated” by his army at the support of North Korea and the west of the west, Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said on Wednesday.
Kim expressed Putin’s “heartfelt thank you” and said that Pyongyang was “always faithful” on the spirit of a mutual defense agreement signed by the sides of the last year, and the KCNA said that “all the measures taken by the Russian leadership in the future”.
“The heads of the states of both countries exchanged ideas about mutual concerns,” KCNA said.
“Kim Jong Un and Putin agreed to be closely contacted in the future.”
The call is a few days ago to meet US President Donald Trump in Alaska to discuss the attempt to end the war in Ukraine, the latest sign of strengthening the relationship between North Korea and Russia during the exhaust of Moscow’s World Forum.
Washington, DC, DC, DC said, “There is still a lot of IFS in the air, but this call suggests that South Korea had helped inaugurate the US DPRK relations,” Jenny Town, director of Korean Program in Washington, DC, told Al Jazilara.
“It may not be the focal point of the upcoming meeting, but it is likely to be part of the conversation.”
Last month, Kim told Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov that all the actions taken by Moscow in Pyongyang Ukraine would “unconditional support”.
According to the assessment of South Korea’s National Intelligence Service, North Korea has deployed more than 1.5 troops to support the Russian war and plan to send more than thousands.
In April, Putin declared that Moscow had fully captured Kursk, but Ukrainian officials claimed to have brought the entire region under the Russian control.
At his planned summit with Putin on Friday, Trump is expected to pressure the Russian leader to agree to the peace agreement.
On Monday, he told reporters that in the first two minutes of meeting Putin on whether he could reach a contract, he may know it, and in any agreement between Moscow and Kiev, there will be “some exchanges, soil changes”.
