The Man in Britain was arrested in the US accused of trying to drown the daughter-in-law in the pool


A man in Britain was charged with the attempted murder after allegedly trying to drown his daughter-in-law in a Florida swimming pool.

Mark Gibbon, 62, was on holiday with his family at the solterra resort in Davenport, Near Walt Disney World Resort, when the disagreement over his grandchildren erupted, Polk County Sheriff Department said.

Mr. Gibbon, from Beaconfonfield in Buckinghamshire, prosecuted pushing and holding the head of the 33-year-old woman a lot of times when he was restricted to breathing.

He is charged with the attempt to kill the second degree degree and two battery counts.

Sheriff Grady Judd said in a statement: “It was nice that Polk’s County brought visitors from around the world, as they visited our residents throughout our life.

“Because Mr. Gibbon couldn’t control his anger, he could find himself spent a lot of time in Florida than he expected.”

The woman told the officers fighting with her grandchildren while they were on holiday rental home on holiday, before she said tried to seduce her.

A young woman then jumped into the pool of a try to stop Mr. Gibbon drowned by the woman, Sheriff’s Office said.

G. Gibbon was accused of stopping only when two sisters on vacation at the next door say they called Sheriff’s office.

He was arrested and taken to the Polk County prison, Sheriff’s Office said.
