Remembering the original Superman | Art and culture

Before the latest Superman movie was premiered, he was already considered controversial. Director James Gan’s innocent comment referred to Superman’s back story as “migrants from other places” promised to boycott the film “Walk”.

When is all the anger when this is really the original story of Superman? He is sent to earth as refugees from the dying planet.

Jerry Sighel, who produced Superman in the 30s of the 30s, and Joe Shshors were both the Jewish immigrants in the United States and Canada respectively. Clark Kent, the changing ego of Superman, his experiences, fear and two shy young people are proud of the two shy young people who are pushing for young people. Like them, he does not think he is a clerk, who is terrifying, and has no confidence to speak or go to others, who are not afraid of some.

Growing up, reading comics, I saw in Clark Kent that I know very well – a hesitant, humble man, compressing myself for sitting. I saw myself. I also come to a permanent settlement from a foreigner

And so, I hoped to see a new superman film, hoping to return on the basis of origin. Watching trailers and reading interviews, my kids and I measure together in the premiere together. We went to see this movie and realized the real feeling of recognition. We are glad to see that the original part of the Superman story was pushed again.

But why did the backstory coming from abroad to be permanently inhabited by Superman as a threat to some? As their favorite superheroes “wake up”?

Perhaps it is related to the fact that for a long time, Superman was white in a superhero that has worked and represented by American power. How did they get it?

When their creation became very popular, Sigel and Shisht lost control of it because their publishers decided to put them away.

“DC (Comics) President Jack Libositz looks like they can sell superman pillocates and pajamas – but if Superman threw people out of the window and threatened to wrap iron straps around their neck,” Pulp Empire says: a secret history of Pulp Empire:

The original Superman was rebellious. He was seen as “socialist”, “anarchist” and even the “radical revolutionary”. On the comic book cover, it was described as “champion of repression.”

In his first adventure, Superman has come to the corrupt lobbyist and weapon manufacturer who tries to bribe Congress to vote for the United States in a foreign conflict.

This type of character did not establish. He challenged him. So it didn’t take long to get that edge down. In the 40s of the 40s, Superman was also registered in the propaganda war against Axis strength, just like other superheroes. During the Cold War, he promoted the American military values and values, and eventually became a symbol of the American Empire, the strength and dominance of the American empire – which is quite opposite to the purpose of its manufacturers.

Superman was white not only to serve the government and the elite, but his original character was dangerous. The story of quiet, wolf migrants that find the power to rebel against injustice and oppression in themselves. And the political establishment does not want to be upgraded. They want Clark Kent – shy, poker, weak, no sound.

It is for the same accurate reasons that people who come or come from the government and the elite abroad have found the power to speak and stand in themselves.

Speaking openly against injustice and corruption, Indian mother and Indian father, Zoharan Mamdani, who contested for New York mayor.

Rashida Talab and Ilhan Omar, two trails for their immigrant communities, who have been elected to the US representative hall, and who are clearly spoken of the issues that harass Islamophobia, the war crimes and immigrants of the United States.

Former Colombia University graduate student Mahmud Khalil, who threatened his education to speak for people who were genocidal in Gaza. The federal government did not force him to be quietly due to his abduction and arrest. After his release, Khalil kept talking to Palestine people.

The goal of studying the abusive sound and demanding their rights is a goal of studying the American government’s anti-people campaign, equity, diversity and inclusion (DEI) programs and openly challenging the war, power and empire of educational independence.

The elite people saw Gaza – on the streets, on campus, on the ballot – and the collective mobility that was scared. The proportion and scope of this movement was placed for the extensive mobility that could go beyond the immediate purpose of stopping a genocide across the community, race and religion. It can stand for injustice and corruption. This can come to them.

When Clark Kent realizes that the elite people see what happens to him, he no longer wants to be terrified and invisible. They are not afraid of neglected, refugees and immigrants. These people are afraid to find their voices and strengths to demand their rights.

And that’s the feeling that the original superman has to be inspired – there is no blindness on American power, no wrong pride on American values, but believes in one’s own power of changing, standing, standing.
