The EU will delay this plan to hit the US with tariffs of € 21bn in annual European exports to Tuesday to hit 30 percent tariff from August 1.
The President of the European Commission Arrsula von Domeen said Sunday the application of tariffs at € 21bn in annual EU exports, including motorcycles in July 14.
“We always clearly want a negotiation solution in the US. It remains a case,” he said.

European leaders divided if the bloc should proceed for a quick framework trade deal similar to the UK’s or continued to negotiate the hope of achieving a better outcome.
Senior EU officials told them that they did not expect Trump to last through his new threat to 30 percent of the pressure on the rest of the time.
An EU officer pointed to the possibility of a negative reaction to US invested in such steps step by a key trade partner.

The German minister of German finance Lars Klingbeil calls for the EU to continue “serious” talks. “No new threats should be necessary today. The need for the EU to continue intense and intended negotiations in the US,” he told Süddeutsche Zeitung.
However, Klingbeil warns “If a fair solution to negotiation cannot be reached, we must make detailed countermeasures to protect jobs and European companies.”

The instrument “was created for extraordinary circumstances – we have not been there,” the President of the Commission said, increasing “the time for negotiation”.
His comments arrived as he announced a “political agreement” in a free Trade Talk in Indonesia after nine years of address.
The agreement, expected to be finalized in September, must be approved by a weighted majority of member states and the European Parliament. Officials are confident that it will pass while Indonesia does not export sensitive agricultural products such as beef.
Bilateral trading on things between EU and Indonesia is 27.3bn in 2024, with EU Exports value € 9.7bn and EU imports value € 17.5bn.
“I am very pleased that in this time of emptiness and confusion we set up a correct example,” says Indonesia President Prake Olianto Subianto.
Von Der Leyen says lifting trading agreements is a central part of the EU’s counter strategy against Trump.
Some business and politician groups, however, criticized Von Der Leyen’s way.
Italian deputy chief minister Mentoo Salvini, leader of the TE-Teal Party rooted for the Trump’s re-election, which negotiates the negotiations.
“Trump did not cause our country to attack but once we pay the price for a German headed in Europe,” as the league of a statement.
Coldiretti, the influential AGRIBusiness Astribusiness in Italy, also criticized Brusselsels, warned that Trump food exports 30 times in Italy producers.
“If tariffs need to be confirmed on August 1, we cannot help discuss the complete failure of Von Der Leyen’s policy,” said Ettore Prodandi, Coldiretti president.
