Hunters dug into a mountain in Nepal on Tuesday to search for the bodies of seven accomplices killed by New York and authorities.
Avanon entered the base camp on Monday morning at Yuling Ri, the base camp at 4,900 meters. On the same day, snow was prevented from reaching the station, but the weather cleared on Tuesday and the helicopter landed with new ones.
Other travelers who were injured in their area were taken to the capital for treatment. Among them, there were three French and five Nepali citizens.
At least three bodies were pulled from the snow on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The Italian service said that “the disabled were trapped in Camp 1 (5,000 meters) in heavy snow.”
