5. ‘The family stone’ (2005)
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 52 percent

Nelson), and her equally loyal siblings, who don’t like how awkward and uptight Meredith seems to be, especially Everett’s younger sister, the sarcastic Amy (McAdams). As tensions rise to a boiling point, can this group of disparate personalities survive the holidays?
A little cheesy, a little angry, The family stone has defied a mixed critical reception and has become something of a cult classic over the years and a Christmas staple for many. The fantastic ensemble cast (which also includes Luke WilsonElizabeth Reaser i Claire Danes), combined with catchy sentimentality, some off-kilter humor, and grippingly unreal characters, produces a strangely endearing holiday comedy that never goes out of style.
4. About Time (2013)
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 71 percent

When Tim finally meets Mary (McAdams), he uses his charm and special abilities to win her heart. But as Tim’s life goes on, he slowly realizes that he can’t always use time travel to escape the usual problems inherent in being alive.
Although it’s riddled with some time travel-related plot holes, you’ll find yourself totally won over by About the weather irresistible charms, thanks in large part to the chemistry between McAdams and Gleeson. Despite the admittedly absurd nature of the narrative, Richard Curtis brings pure and honest sincerity to the script and direction to create a timeless (no pun intended) romance.

When Cady agrees to befriend Regina to “take her down” on Janice’s behalf, Cady is unwittingly drawn into the cheap thrills of popularity.
written by Tina Fey (which infuses his characteristic acerbic wit), bad girls it still endures as one of the greatest American high school movies of all time. Funny, surprisingly sentimental, and filled with too many viral catchphrases to name, the film is a coming-of-age staple as well as a crucial launching pad for actors like Caplan, McAdams, and Amanda Seyfried.
2. ‘Game Night’ (2018)
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 85 percent
Game obsessives Annie (McAdams) and Max (Jason Bateman) meet and fall in love through their shared love of all things playable, hosting weekly game nights with their pair of suburban friends. As the night grows increasingly chaotic, Annie and Max find themselves involved in a game with more rules than they know how to follow.
Games Night proved that McAdams still possesses the comedic chops he flaunted bad girls, and that the actress should use these comic gifts much more often than she is allowed to. Of course, McAdams isn’t the only standout in this fantastic cast: Billy Magnussen, Lamorne Morris, and above all Jesse Plemons big laughs are had by all in this fast paced and cleverly edited crime game.
