“Tomorrow’s War” (2021)
Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Chris Pratt he plays a real type of person Tomorrow’s warbut the story doesn’t stray far from Pratt’s sci-fi roots. Former Green Beret and current school teacher James Daniel Forester Jr. (Pratt) can’t hold down a job right now, but that’s the least of their problems. Soldiers from the future have arrived in the present to warn humanity that it faces extinction at the hands of an alien invasion unless reinforcements from the present are sent through time.
Dan is one of the global recruits who is chosen to be trained and sent on a potentially one-way trip to the future. What Dan finds in this future is not what he expected. He soon learns that his grown daughter, Muri Forester (Yvonne Strahovski), is a colonel, and also knows all about Dan’s fate in the original timeline.

‘Little Italy’ (2018)
